白宫风云第一季

主旋律这种东西，甭管中国外国，一样让人无法忍受。

偶尔拔高一回也就算了，这样时刻不忘展示美国精神的崇高，把好好的政治题材剧毁成了样板戏，可惜那么多精致漂亮的细节。

     我对政治的事情稍稍感点儿冒，所以上手的比较快。但是，很难说如果你对政治不感兴趣，那么你是否还会喜欢它。
     Mr.President很是完美，我可以说他没有什么人性的缺点，完美到即便他犯了错误，你都会甘心情愿原谅他；
     VicePresident虽然戏份很少，但足以见得他是跟正头儿有区别的，所以他是个二把手；
     Mr.President手下的人，就是所谓的幕僚们，虽然各自有各自的弱点，但也不至于说成缺点，因为每集的故事情节、镜头跟进都很是紧凑，所以对于个性缺点没有展现得很透彻；
     所以，整体看来就是这些人怎样处理政府与群众、共和党与民主党(Mr.President是民主党的)、民主党议员之间、国与国之间的纷争的。从我个人的角度来看，此剧完全可以很大幅度地提升民主党政府官员的形象。(但现在共和党地Bush当政，就不知是否有作用了)

     此剧有几个特点值得说明：
1.如果你希望从中得到什么"内幕"，那就适可而止吧。毕竟是Drama又不是记录片，所以没什么太多的真实性可言。不过，有些剧情和安排还是可以满足你这方面的要求的。比如，动不动就到地下室与军队的最高长官商量拯救地球的事。(发生的事情有时候跟美国没什么关系，但是得靠他们解决)

2.如果你极度爱国，又极度反美。劝你不要看，至少不要看全，此剧中几乎政治大国都有所涉及，并且情节设计的有点随意；及时是真实事件，但对有些对极度爱国的人来说还是受不了的。

3.不过确确实实的抛开国籍而言，对Mr.President实在是佩服，他的幕僚们个顶个的将，所以可以称之为理想白宫

“政治童话”到了梦醒的时候

　　5月，NBC的晚间黄金时段剧集《白宫群英》(The　West　Wing)就要迎来整个系列的最后一集，一个连续播放了7年的电视剧赢得了4届艾美奖最佳电视剧奖，这时候谢幕也算是功成身退。成功在什么地方？剧中的白宫副幕僚长可以面对镜头大谈罗尔斯的“无知之幕”原则而不用担心观众们会感到厌烦而换台，中国的电视剧投资人要是接到这样的剧本估计得拔自己的头发。除了编剧Aaron　Sorkin充满智慧的台词和以老牌明星Martin　Sheen为主角的演员们极富张力的表演，《白宫群英》获得巨大成功关键是，它向厌恶了性丑闻、幕后交易以及国会山上无休止的争吵的人们提供了一个近乎完美的“政治童话”。
　　Martin　Sheen扮演的民主党总统巴列特(Jed　Barlet)可能是电视史上最受欢迎的总统，2003年的一项调查表明，共和党最喜爱的民主党人就是“巴列特总统”。他在经济建设和社会发展上的成绩与克林顿一样辉煌，而个人品德无懈可击，在对外事务上和一个共和党人一样果断、强硬。除此之外，在长达7年的播映中，《白宫群英》几乎探讨了美国政治生活的每一个细节，用幻想的情节向人们解释“三权分立”到底是怎么运作的，堪称是美国政治体制的百科全书。加州大学的教授Staci　L.Beavers甚至写了一篇论文，《〈白宫群英〉，作为政治学教育的工具》(The　WestWing，as　a　Pedagogical　Tool)想要对美国政治体制有个感性的认识？不用去美国作“田野调查”了，全套《白宫群英》的DVD就能帮你有个大致的了解。
　　没时间看完这部长达七季的电视剧，你可以看一下第七季的第七集，这集于去年11月26日现场直播，全程模拟了总统竞选的电视辩论，唯一的情节就是民主共和两党的总统候选人在台上辩论，台词长达7千多句，涵盖了当代美国所有的政治热点，从具体的政策措施到宏大的意识形态之争。为什么共和党对国际国内所有问题的答案都是“减税”？为什么加拿大的药品比美国要便宜很多？总统竞选中的政治捐献又是如何影响竞选人的政策制定的？往远了说，为啥林肯的政治思想被人们认为是“自由派(liberal)”的而他却是个共和党人？这些问题的初步答案都可以在这短短45分钟的模拟电视辩论中找到。
　　然而童话毕竟只是童话，由于主创人员都是著名的“好莱坞民主党人”，《白宫群英》毫不掩饰自己自由主义的立场，这与美国近年弥漫的保守主义政治空气相抵触。在最初几季的热潮过后，更支持共和党的普通民众渐渐对这部自由派立场的电视剧失去了兴趣，保守立场的专栏作家们也开始调侃“The　West　Wing”实际上是“The　Left　Wing”，《白宫群英》的命运就和它想要表达的理念一样，在美国舆论中的“市场份额”越来越小，收视率节节下降。
　　是美国人民突然发现自由派都是骗子吗？答案肯定没这么简单，《白宫群英》在第六季中给出了自己的答案，“白宫副幕僚长”在和同事们闲聊的时候提到了“爸爸妈妈理论(papa-mama　theory)”，对美国人来说，共和党就像“爸爸”，对内放开手让美国人自己在市场上摸爬滚打，对外强硬果断，坚决维护美国利益；民主党人像“妈妈”，对内照顾自己的孩子们，对外则更希望维护一个和平安定的环境。当面临外部世界威胁的时候，孩子们都希望有一个强硬的爸爸保护自己。
