S01E01: 我们来自不同的世界，但我们彼此相容。爱将我们紧紧相连，共度风风雨雨。我到你的前面，只有一事相许，我的心只属于你。

We're form different worlds，yet we somehow fit together.Love is what binds us,through fair or stormy weather.I stand before you now with only one agenda .To let you know my heart is yours.

S01E02: 那么，成为好父亲的秘诀是什么？有时候事情会如你所愿,有时候则事与愿违，但你要坚持。因为当一切尘埃落地，一个好父亲的大部分特征就会自然出现

Okay.The key to being a good dad?Sometimes things work out just the way you want.Sometimes they don't .You gotta hang in there.Because when all is said and done. 90% of being a dad …is just showin up.

S01E03: 不觉得好像伸出手臂就能拥抱全世界吗？

Doesn't it feel like these arms could go around the world?

S01E04: 你们都极力想护住那些美好的东西

You're reaching out,trying to hold on to something awesome.

S01E06: 我们常常为了深爱我们的人做些稀奇古怪的事，我们对他们撒谎，我们为他们撒谎。或许生活中难免坎坷颠簸，但我们总希望他们过得尽善尽美。就像是肩负着最沉重的负担，但却是世上最甜蜜的负担。

We do strange things for the people we love. We lie to them. We lie for them. There may be some bumps along the way. but we never stop wanting the best for them. That's what makes it such a tough job.Kind of the best job in the world.

S01E07： 我们教育孩子说，输赢无所谓。但平心而论，胜利的感觉好极了，他们在阳光下的那一刻是无与伦比的美丽，。也许每位家长都希望孩子能有这样的时刻，甚至希望自己也能这样。有时我们太苛求结果，结果导致许多怨恨和愧疚。怎么才不算过分呢，我的想法是 愧疚总会过去，奖牌才是硬道理。（哈哈哈哈哈哈…）

We tell our kids it doesn't matter if you win or lose .but let's be honest .winning feels pretty great. There's noting like that golden moment in the sun. I think every parent probably wants that for their child .And maybe a little bit for ourselves too. Sometimes we push too hard .And that leads to a lot of resentment and guilt. So,how much is too much? Here's where I come out .Guilt fades ,Hardware is forever .

S01E08: 我太爱你了，但我觉得你可能永远不会知道

I love you so much, and I feel you just are never gonna know it.

S01E10: 重点是那些已经是永不褪色的回忆了，但现在我有绝佳的机会，来和我的新家人去创造我们的新回忆，终有一日这些回忆也会不同寻常。

The point is that those are memories that I'll always have, but now I have the perfect opportunity to create new memories with my family. That are gonna be just as special someday.

每年的这个时候，我们就会经常谈论传统。尽管我们深爱着自己的传统，但有时候我们最美好的回忆，却来自于最颠覆传统的时刻。

We talk a lot about tradition this time of year. But as much as we love our traditions,sometimes our best memories come from the times that are the most untraditional.

S01E16：我是说，人不可能事事顺心。若事事顺心，则要珍惜当下。

I mean, things don't always work out.But you gotta love it when they do.

S01E18: 但是成长的可笑之处就在这里，在多年的时间中，大家都很害怕 标新立异 异于常人。然后，忽然之间，几乎是一夜之间，大家又都想异于常人。

But this is the funny thing about growing up. For years and years,everybody's desperately afraid to be different,you know, in any way. And then, suddenly,almost overnight,everybody wants to be different.

S01E22：你总是希望能和一个人心有灵犀。可到头来，发现其实没那么有默契时，总是有点沮丧。

You wanna believe you're on the same wavelength as someone, and then it's just …it's a little disheartening when you find out you're not.

S02E04: 你要知道我每天醒来，都因为我的生命中有你而心怀感激。

You should know that every day, I wake up very grateful to have you in my life.

S02E18: 人们总会出乎你的意料。你为表象所蒙蔽，看惯了他们人前的一面。以为眼见为实，这时他们就会出其不意，展示出自己深藏不露,不为你所知的复杂内心。

People can surprise you. You get used to thinking of them one way, stuck in their roles. They are what they are. And then they do something that shows you，there's all this depth and dimension that you never knew existed.

S02E22：也许我们是因为身边的人，才成为现在的自己。又或许，我们只是挑中了我们需要的人。不管是怎样，当你们找到彼此，就应该永远都不放手。

Maybe we are the way we are because of the people we're with. Or maybe we just pick the people we need. However it works, when you find each other,you should never let go.

S03E09: 这个世界上有梦想家，也有现实主义者。你可能会觉得梦想家们喜欢聚在一起，现实主义者又聚成另外的小团体。但是往往，两者喜欢混搭在一起。其实，梦想家需要现实主义者，提醒他们，不要把梦想放飞得过高。而现实主义者，如果没有梦想家的话，可能永远无法将梦想放飞。

There are dreamers and there are realists in this world. You'd think the dreamers would find the dreams, and the realists would find the realists,but more often than not,the opposite is true. You see,the dreamers need the realists to keep them from soaring too close to the sun. And the realists …Well, without the dreamers they might not ever get off the ground.

S04E10: 这就是婚姻的可笑之处。你爱上一个人，卓越优秀的人。但随着时间推移，却只能看到对方的平凡。

That's the funny thing about marriage. You fall in love with this…extraordinary person. And over time,they begin to seem ordinary.

有时候我不太理解人类，他们因为最傻的原因做出疯狂的事。他们说服自己无论怎样都会有好结果，他们会无视所有相反的证据。

Sometimes I don't understand people. They do crazy things for the dumbest reasons.They convince themselves it'll all work out…Despite all the evidence to the contrary.

S04E15: 那是最难的一点，不是吗？当你意识到你无法阻止这个世界伤害他们。

That's the hardest part,isn't it? When you realize you can't stop the world from hurting them.

S05E21: 让人们见到真实的你是很可怕的一件事，即使是面对你最亲的家人亦是如此。但其实我们最不该担心他们的态度，因为他们是最不带偏见爱我们的人。他们会原谅我们的过错，庆祝我们的不完美，甚至会鼓励我们尽情展现真实的自己。

It's scary to let people see the real you,even when those people are your own family. But aren't they the ones we should be least worried about, the ones who will love us without judging, who forgives our faults and celebrate our imperfections.

Maybe even encourage us to let our true

selves shine through.

S07E08: 为何我们要选择与我们相差甚多的人做伴侣？并非命运或机遇，也并非俗话所谓的“心意难为” 。我们选择了现在的伴侣是因为，他们代表了童年缺失的部分，我们选择他们，是因为它们有着我们渴望拥有的品质。如此一来，如此的选择了区别甚大的伴侣。并努力地给他们提供他们想要的东西，我们为自己的成长规划好了方向。

Why do we choose partners so different from ourselves? It's not fate or chance or cliches like “the heart wants what the heart wants ”. We choose our partners because they represent the unfinished business form our childhood. And we chose them because they manifest the qualities we wish we had. In doing so, in choosing such a challenging partner,and working to give them what they need, we chart a course for our own growth.

S07E22: 有时候你会经历被众人围绕着，却仍然觉得十分孤独的时刻。你只想回到家人身边汲取安慰，但有时即使是家人都无法给你这种安慰。因为其实他们也会遭遇和你一样的孤独，你只能隐忍地等到这种煎熬结束，然后你就能好好睡下，希望醒来后是美好的一天。

Sometimes, you have one of those days where you are surrounded by people, but you still feel pretty lonely. All you want to do is go home to the comfort of your family. But sometimes,even your family can't give you that comfort.Because it turns out they've all had one of those days,too. All you can do is wait for days like that be over...so you can go to bed and hope you wake up to a better tomorrow.
